A spiral pipe (SSAW ” Spiral Submerged Arc Welded Steel Pipe) is a type of welded steel pipe made by spirally forming a steel strip or coil into a cylindrical shape and continuously welding the seam using submerged arc welding, creating a strong helical weld that allows efficient production of large‘diameter and long‘length pipes. These pipes are characterized by wide diameter and thickness ranges, customizable lengths, and high strength with uniform stress distribution, making them suitable for oil and gas transmission, water and wastewater pipelines, infrastructure and industrial applications, piling and structural support, and other fluid or load‘bearing projects. SSAW pipes are manufactured to various international standards and can be supplied with different end types and surface coatings based on project requirements.
